Dr. Visit Update!

On September 12th Carl and I had another Dr.'s visit. It went great! We got to hear the heartbeat! She found the baby the first time but we couldn't hear it very well and then the baby moved and we heard it clear and strong the second time! At first the heart rate was 162 and then again at 158. So, the baby has a very healthy and strong heart beat! I've actually felt the baby move several times this week so it's been very exciting for us. I mean, the movement was for only a few seconds at first and very light, but towards the end of this week I felt a few stronger movements! On Friday the baby moved off and on after lunch for almost an hour! Wow! Again, they're very light movements but it's just so amazing to feel something squirming inside of you!



I took some pictures of my belly and am going to every month until the baby is born. The doctor said everything is going great and I've only gained 7 pounds so far so everything is going right on track! Our next Dr.'s appt. will be on October 10th and at that time we'll hear the heartbeat again and then from there schedule an ultrasound a week or two out to find out if we're going to have a baby boy or a baby girl!! We can't wait! Love you all!

• I even accidentally saw Memaw's baby blanket she's making! OOpps! It was supposed to be a surprise, but there it was on the coffee table! It's absolutely gorgeous!! I know the baby will just love it! And I do too!!!
