Camden is smiling, giggling and cooing up a storm. It's so fun to see his personality growing each day. His newest joy is when he sits on daddy's lap and Carl grabs Camden's hands and makes motorcycle sounds as if Camden is riding a bike. He thinks that's the funniest thing ever! He'll giggle so much until he ends up getting the hiccups!
Oh, and in case you wonder why he's wearing thick pajama's, it's because we've tried to not swaddle him at night. He always wiggles his way out of it and thought it was time to dress him warm enough with no covers and no longer swaddling him. Let's just say it hasn't gone over too well. I was up 4 times or more during the night comforting him back to sleep. I hate to give in and I know there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with swaddling your baby, I just thought since he's trying so hard to get out of it maybe it was time to just be done, but I stand corrected!

Camden is getting to be such a big boy!! He is super cute!! It will be so fun to see Camden and Gavin interacting next time we can get together!
Levi used to do the EXACT same thing pretending Gavin was riding a motorcycle! When he entered the "mommy don't leave the room stage" it was a quick fix to keep him happy for daddy!
Also, when Gavin started wiggling out of his swaddle, we would tuck the covers into the sides of the mattress as tight as they would go, so his lower body felt swaddled and his upper body was free to move around. It wasn't long before he kicked the covers off as soon as they were put on though!
Love all the new pictures - he's getting cuter and cuter every day!
We've started swaddling Ethan with one arm out, and he's done great with that. We'll move on to two arms out soon, hopefully. We tried giving it up cold turkey, and that was a nightmare, so maybe easing him out like this will work. I recently heard of someone that was still swaddling their 2 1/2 year old (with a twin sheet!!), and I refuse to let that happen. ha!
Ha! That's hilarious, there's NO way we'd swaddle him that old! Yes, we tried to quit cold turkey too and it just didn't happen! His arms swing all over the place and wake him up. I get it, it makes him feel safe and comfortable. We'll see, he's still little but we're like you, we don't want to swaddle him forever!
