Sorry it's been awhile since I've blogged. My life has been very busy! On my days off I've been trying to get out there and market myself by handing out coupon's and flyers to promote my new salon in hopes to build clients. I absolutely love it there! Thank goodness for my clients who have followed me from Reflections. It's a great place to work and I feel so free there. It's nice to be your own boss and come and go as you please. Although, once I'm there I stay there in hopes to catch as many walk-in clients as possible. I also work with one of my best friends there, Lindsay. She and I went to beauty school together so we have a blast. It kind of reminds me of a modern day Steel Magnolis. How fun is that??!!!
Camden. Let me just say he's doing so wonderful. He's growing like crazy! I realized I didn't post his stats from his dr.'s visit a few weeks ago! At his last dr.'s visit (4 shots later)...
Weight: 18 lbs. 6 oz.
Height: 28 1/2 inches tall!
I haven't seen it yet, but I believe he's on the verge of his 3rd tooth! All the warning signs are there. Constant crying at night, runny nose, and he's in need of extra cuddling time. That of course I'm always happy to do! He's been having rough nights getting to sleep and waking up several times. These are the exact signs that tell us a tooth is coming on like the last two.
Camden is eating great. He has been experimenting with fruits and so far I'd say his favorite are pears. He's into peaches the past few days. He gets so excited when we sit him in his high chair. He's able to relate the high chair with getting to eat food! Oh, and the wonderful part for me is that he's nursing less. It's kind of freeing to me because before he really got into lots of solid foods he was still nursing every three hours like clockwork. When you're baby is 6 months old and still nurses every three hours, you begin to wonder if you'll ever catch a break! It's a lot of work, but well worth it. I've officially lost all of my baby weight and then a few pounds. Although I'd still be happy 10-15 pounds lighter, I can't complain. Nursing is the best diet anyone could get on! I'm fitting into jeans I wore before Carl and I were married! Yeah!!!

The other day the weather was just so gorgeous outside so I layed a blanket in the grass and took some pretty cute pictures of him. He got bored quickly but he was a trooper! Oh, one other thing I forgot to mention, Camden now is into shaking his head NO. It's funny because we've never done that to him, but when you talk to him he'll shake his head back and forth fast like he's just insisting NO! I've tried to capture it on video to blog, but he looses his focus when he sees the camera. I'll keep trying.

Here is Camden and our Papa. This is Camdens Great Grandpa and it was so cute because he was amazed by Papa's hat!
