FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN!!!!!

Whew! We just got back from our trip to Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City. We were there two nights and met up with Heather and Al, friends from Nebraska. It was a blast! Their two kids Caleb and Ali had a blast along with Camden. They have an indoor water park, a restaurant and the best bakery and coffee right there in the Lodge! It's beautiful as always. Carl and I went there a few years ago and we all agreed we'd love to do it once a year together with our families and make it a tradition. Camden LOVED the water. He's completely fearless of the water. He literally will dunk his entire head in the water just to blow bubbles. We have to careful anyways with him in the water, but this makes it more challenging when he really wants to stick his head under water all the time! He splashed and giggled and took everything in. He really likes to watch the other kids play. He'd sit in the water and clap his hands and grin! Carl and I took turns while the other played a little too! I feel so worn out, but definitely very happy the trip went so well. Camden though doesn't take a vacation from getting up for the day at 6:00 but hey, that's alright! I really enjoyed our special time in the morning. He got up at 6:00 on the dot, and in the dark I struggled to find everything we'd need for his morning bottle, playtime, and mommy's cash for a coffee! We went down in the lobby and I had my morning coffee while he had his morning bottle. He crawled his little heart out in the main lobby while I sat by the fire. Awwwww.... I miss it already! Then, by about 8:00 we went back up to the room when everyone else started getting up for the day. And after breakfast it was water park time!

Caleb and Camden!

Our room we shared was neat! Downstairs it had two beds and living room and upstairs we stayed in the loft which was perfect to put Camden down in the evenings!

Oh, I should tell you this too. In the morning and in the evening they have this big Coo Coo Clock with a moose, bear, turtle, beaver, owl and a few other animals that sing and talk. It's a very kid friendly environment. In the evenings all the children and parents go down to the main lobby at 8:00 for a pajama story time and get to have some fun. Camden really watched very closely and loved the story time!

Miss Ali and Camden. (Margaret, this is my cousins daughter Ali who I have always thought that she and Kiera look so much alike)

Awake bright and early for the day!

Silly faces girls!!!

Have you ever seen a mother and daughter look so much alike?!!

Sisterly and brotherly love!
