He fell asleep while I was getting ready!

I can't believe my baby is turning 1 tomorrow!! I almost come to tears thinking about it! So much has happened in this last year that makes my heart so full of happiness. Camden is amazing. He laughs ALL the time, everything is funny to him and he's a joker himself! He loves to get in your face and kiss and love and make everyone around him smile.

Camden is really changing too with not being interested in a bottle these days (they're going away tomorrow!) and drinks great from a sippy cup by himself! He's sleeping better along with naps and no more rocking! We kiss him on the head, say "Night, Night" and lay him down. He's really learned to fall asleep on his own. Sometimes of course he'll cry but not usually for more than a few minutes. He hasn't eaten baby food in quite some time and let me tell you, he eats so much! I can't imagine how it'll be when he's a teenager! He seriously eats a serving size of a 1st grader! Ha,ha! He loves food! He can throw a ball back and forth and is getting really good at catching it too! I've gotta try to get that on video. He mimics everything you do! Anything from making a funny face to the way you talk he'll try to do himself. If he hears music he'll pat his little leg like he's got rhythm and he LOVES to talk! All day long he'll ramble and babble like he really knows exactly what he's talking about! He wakes up talking!! He's saying more and more words every day. It was just so funny the other day when Carl left for work and he so clearly said, "Bye Bye." It's so great! He can say "Chug Chug Chug" like a Choo-Choo train! He's pretty attached to Mama these days (but I don't mind!) He loves playing peek-a-boo and hide and seek. He's really good at it too! He's enjoys reading anything and everything. He'll point at the pages and turn them and babble as if he knows exactly what the book says. He loves looking out the window and watching the dogs play. He growls. He loves to play with our shoes (gross!) He's so close to walking. He loves pankakes and eggs (yes, I've given him eggs a few weeks earlier than I should have, but he loves them!) He loves going for walks outside. He still pulls Mama's hair. Always has, hopefully always won't! He splashes everywhere during bath time and would stay in the bath as long as we'd let him! He hates getting dressed and lotion rubbed on his body. He loves to play with anything he's not supposed to. Isn't that every baby?

These are just a few of the many things Camden's been up to lately and we're so excited to see what this next year brings us! We're so blessed God has chosen us to be this beautiful baby's parents. We're so lucky...
