Chesleigh, 6 months old

Don't her eyes look like they're turning kinda green?

This is one of my favorite pictures...

My baby is half a year old. Half a year? Really??!! I wasn't expecting this so soon. She's getting so big so quick! Chesleigh is doing wonderful. She's a whopping 22 lbs. last time I stepped her on the scale and she's in size 4 diapers! Can you believe that? Camden at age 2 was in size 4 diapers! She's sitting up now and she loves to play with her toys. She's getting really good at reaching for things and getting into the crawling position. Her little bottom shakes up and down like she's winding up to let loose and crawl! Oh yes, I've only seen her actually roll over twice, so I guess she just skipped that part!

We started her on her first vegetable, sweet potatoes. She loved them! I'll be posting pictures of that day very soon. She loves her oatmeal cereal in the evenings too! She's really into laughing, almost like she's hyperventilating! Her smile is changing too. Maybe because she's getting older, but it's changing. It makes me happy and sad at the same time. Happy she's growing and healthy and sad it's going so quickly. She still does so well during the night. Once she's asleep she will sleep through the night (sometimes wakes up for her paci) and up at about 7 or 8. She and Camden are finally getting better at taking their long naps together at the same time around 1 to 3 in the afternoon.

She's demanding. Let me tell you she's sweet, but she's demanding! When she gets angry she will literally clasp her hands together so tight like she's praying and her whole face will turn red and her entire body looks like it's tightening up! It's so funny I just laugh out loud! NO tears, she's just mad. Usually when she's waiting for the next bite from the spoon!
