Playing Lego's with Camden and painting Chesleigh's toes for the first time. Who ever thought Lego's could be so much fun! It really works with Camden's imagination and it's that special quality time that we have just one on one. He likes to play in the evening with daddy while sissy is already in bed and that's a special time they share too and talk about their day. It's becoming quite a common thing to do in the evenings. And miss Chesleigh is such a girl! She likes to play with makeup and the whole bit with her little purse on her arm and everything. I was pretending to dust her face with makeup and she just giggled and scrunched up her little nose. When I was putting polish on her she was sititng on her bottom and stuck her leg straight up and said, "toes, toes!" She was eating it up!!! Camden didn't like me polishing her toes and couldn't understand why we were having so much fun, hahaha!!
Almost week 1 of Chesleigh being in her big girl bed and yet another reason she was so ready...
I'm getting ready for the day and it's almost 11 and she comes into the bathroom with her blankie and says, "Ready, ready, ready." I said are you ready to go night night? Then she repeats me, "nigh night." She then goes into the living room and tells Camden she's going night night and says "kiss, kiss" and waves goodbye to him. Then the whole way back to her bedroom she's squealing the words "rocky" for rocking her to sleep. We usually don't rock her to sleep but every once in awhile we like our cuddle time. Then I laid her down and didn't hear a peep from her. She's done wonderful! She actually stays in her bed (I know this could stop at any time though!) and waits for me to come in her room to get her up. She's getting so big!
