Preparing for Preschool

Really?  I mean... Really?  Already preparing for preschool?!  Now, I know it's not kindergarten just yet, but it might as well be.  I know times goes fast but this is just amazing that Camden is already 3 almost 3 1/2 years old and is starting his very first preschool.  Now I don't know if I or Aunt Betty are ready to let him go just yet two days a week but Camden definitely is.  I believe he's going to love it.  That's my prediction.  Camden will be going to preschool at Lifeway Christian School in Centerton.  The faculty there are so kind and welcoming.  Carl and I met with the principal when we were deciding on where to send him and we were blown away with their outlook on the school and their "mission" for the children so young and growing up.  The security on Campus is awesome which was very important to me.  You have to be buzzed in and the entire time you're seen on camera by someone else who's allowing you inside.  Their lessons for the children are all online so parents can view exactly what the teacher's lesson plans are so we can continue the education at home.

The education is so important but also the different activities he'll be involved in all around.  It was important to us that we knew what he was learning so if he had any questions we could be prepared.  The average day looks something like this...

8:00-8:10     Arrival
8:15-8:50     Chapel
8:55-9:25     Instructional/Library
9:30-9:55     Restroom Break/Snack
10:00-10:45 Recess
10:55-11:30 Music
11:30-11:40 Restroom Break
11:45-12:15 Lunch
12:15-12:30 Restroom Break
12:30-2:00  Nap
2:15-2:45   Instructional
2:45-3:00   Dismissal

I'm excited more than anything that he'll be around other children his age and can really socialize with new friends and learn about new things.  He's so eager to learn.  It'll be an awesome day on this journey of his and I'm so thankful to be his mama.  Can't wait to post pictures of his first day of school!

So glad I got to be involved with his open house for preschool! He seemed so confident walking through the hallways and especially in the music room!! I know it will be a good experience for him and he'll love the interaction with the other kids!
Love you all so much!!
