June 2012 1st KING Camping Trip!!!

Just look at the excited faces!  We are taking our first family Camping trip!  Derrick and Azia, Rick and Betty, Zeke, Andy, and lots of friends stopping out.  This was the best weekend ever!  No TV, no arguing, just fun and swimming!  The kids got to take their first ever Jet Ski ride thanks to Azia bringing it along.  They "drove" ha, and giggled the whole time.  Chesleigh was fearless of course and said it was AWESOME!  Just the look on their faces were priceless.  We all slept great in the camper.  It was a little windy that weekend, but beautiful weather. Poor Azia got a terrible sunburn.  She was hurting the next few days.  We tried grilling out but the wind was a challenge.  Daddy worked hard on this stone fire ring for over an hour trying so hard to get something set up before it got too dark and the kids could roast marshmellow's.  Just relaxing and spending time together was such a blessing.  I see lots of camping trips in our future.  Camden got hurt a few times though, poor little guy.  I thought it would be fun to chase him back to the camper but he fell and skinned both knees and his hands.  He was resting after we cleaned him up and as he was crying he said, "Mama, I can't feel my legs!"  Haha, oh my Camden.  We convinced him that he could actually stand and walk.  Then later we were eating on this concrete picnic table and Camden was seated backwards and went to lean back and he fell through.  It sounded as if a brick dropped and hit the concrete ground.  It was his head, and although there was a big goose egg, he pulled through just fine.  The dangers of camping!
