8 months old

Wow, 8 months old already? I don't even know where all the time goes??!!! Whew, it's just gone so fast. Camden is changing so much lately. He's doing something new all the time and it's so fun watching him learn and grow. Camden loves to read books! I've always read to him, but it hasn't been until recently where he's really shown that much of an interest. Lately, when I read to him his eyes are fixed on the pictures in the book and he gets so excited and squeals and really listens. As I read he giggles as if he thought the book was funny. He also does this cute thing where when we turn the page with the book in his lap, he stops and really LEANS into the page in the book like he just has to get a closer look! It's hilarious! Every page we turn he does this!


We're working on patty cake right now. He still isn't crawling yet, but this past week he's been more interested on staying on his belly for longer periods of time. I'm not rushing it though! Camden has also been sleeping all the way through the night for the past month or so. Every now and then I'd get up and rub his back for just a minute until he falls back asleep. This is a huge accomplishment since there were times I was still nursing at least once in the morning around 3 or 4 am. Camden is still eating well. Now on top of nursing, he's eating breakfast lunch and dinner. He's a great eater! MMMMmmmmm he says! We're finally to the point where we can start to puree most of what we eat for dinner within reason.


We're getting some family photos tomorrow so I'll be sure to post them soon (and send them out to loved ones away! :) These pictures though I just snapped so you all could see just how big he is! He accidentally scratched himself on the forehead in case you're wondering what the mark is. At least it's gone for picture day! Oh, and not only is he getting more hair but I think it's turning a little lighter? Enjoy the pictures! He's just so darn cute!!!!
