We had a great time on Halloween! Camden was a horse! We went to Mommy and Daddy's work and got some yummy candy ( we'll try it out just to be sure it's safe, haha) and then went to see Aunty Betty! For dinner we went to Steak and Shake with Memaw and then headed to the Fall Festival in Centerton! It was a fun filled night! We got many people mistaking him for a cow and even one person said he was a giraffe! Camden didn't mind the costume at all and we had a great time! He had little mittens for hooves, but he wouldn't keep them on. Doesn't he look so cute??!!!
As one of our friends put it, "He looks like a little Manager!"
Carl and I went to a scary and spooky Halloween party on Saturday night. We HAD to dress up and so trying to think of a costume that wouldn't cost anything, here's what we came up with. If you're trying to be scary or come up with a costume idea, you can turn anything into a great costume if you look dead! YIKES! We were a Dead Bride and Groom. ha! We had a great time and putting makeup on Carl was too fun!!
Also, our 3 year Anniversary was on Thursday. I got home from work looking for Camden and Carl surprised me and had it all planned out he'd stay with Aunt Betty! I was SOOOOO surprised! Camden had never stayed overnight with anyone before, so it was a bit nerve wracking for me, but I knew he was in perfect hands. Carl's usually good at surprises, but I'm always onto him. This was a total shock! The house to ourselves for an entire evening??!!! We went to dinner at the Olive Garden and then came back home and sat on our back patio enjoying the nice evening in candle light! YEA! It was so fun and I got to sleep in the next morning! I have to say though, I missed Camden so much and we both talked about him the entire time! The next morning when I went to pick him up he was just waking up from his nap and I walked in and said, "Camden, mama's here. Did you miss me?" He looked up and started shaking his head NO! Ha! Betty and I both laughed so hard! He did great overnight!

How adorable! I wish you could have gotten pictures of he and Ethan-a horse and a puppy. :) I'm glad you all had a night to yourselves. Carl's a doll for doing that for you! Have a great week!
Awww! I love Camden's costume. Joanna's right - we needed a few pictures of them together. (You know, babies have no idea when Halloween really is, so we could do it anytime we want!)
Glad you got a night alone. And you're lucky you got Betty - she's always booked when we ask her! I guess we see who her favorites are... ;)
Betty must have been in hog heaven getting to keep Camden over night!! I can't believe I haven't heard her bragging about it! I thought Camden was a cow too when I got the pic on my phone...he's just too cute!! And of course we missed your wedding anniversary AGAIN!! So sorry!! Looks like you've weathered the years well though???
