I just wanted to update everyone on Camden's 9 month check up. Pictures will be coming soon. The doctor said he's just precious and perfect! He weighs 21 lbs. 5 oz. and is 30 inches tall! The doctor said he's above the 90th percentile for his height! He answered lots of questions for me. Since Camden stopped nursing I was concerned with which formula to start him out on. We had been giving him Infamil, but it's over $25 a can! Ouch! I asked him, "What's that made of, powdered gold??!!!" He just laughed and said that Camden is perfectly healthy and eating solid foods so well that there was no reason we couldn't give him Parent's Choice formula which is a little over $12 a can. That's a huge difference! Camden is adjusting much better to the bottle. After he stopped nursing he was refusing to take the bottle too but it's getting better. The doctor said to introduce a sippy cup now, but we have been for months after he eats. Usually he'll just play with it, but he made a good point. I told him that with the sippy cup he didn't realize to suck to get the liquids out because it wasn't a nipple. Although it's messy, he suggested to take the stopper out for awhile so he can learn to drink from it. Great idea! It's very messy but soon we'll put the stopper back in once he learns how to drink from it.
Oh, and the doctor said no egges until 1 year which I knew, but have you heard the latest? Now they're saying no Peanut Butter until age 3! WOW! No PB&J's for him! He said so many adults are alergic to peanuts or peanut oil that they're blaming it on starting them out too early. Good to know!
Hope everyone is enjoying the preperation for Christmas. We can't wait to have our first Christmas with our baby! How fun!!! :)

So glad he had a good check-up. Sounds like he's growing like a weed!
I know we'll see you at Life Group before this, but will you be at Christmas at Betty's?
