Our baby's First Christmas!
Wow, it was the most beautiful, exciting, awesome feeling in the entire world waking up on Christmas morning for your childs very first Christmas! Carl and I both felt like little kids again ourselves. Santa brought Camden lots of goodies! He brought him a teddy bear, a walker, a book and lots of other goodies in his stocking! Camden was lucky enough to receive 3 stockings this christmas from family so he had lots to choose from! We actually hung as many as we could because they were all so cute! He did great unwrapping all his gifts. He loved tearing into the paper and playing with the boxes! It took him awhile to open all his gifts and he was really wore out when we were done. It was the best Christmas we've ever had. We took our time and didn't rush and really enjoyed every moment. You know, when you move out of your parents home and you're on your own, there's just something about Christmas that's missing. That excitement you get when you wake up that morning just doesn't seem to be the same when you're on your own and have no children. The past few Christmas that Carl and I have shared have been great but it didn't really "FEEL" like Christmas. Now I guess what they say is true when you can relive your childhood through your children. The magic was there for us all this Christmas and it was one I'll never forget!

Hey Crystal! Are you feeling any better???? I've been thinking about you! Hopefully by now you're starting to feel a little better. It took a full week for me, so maybe just a couple more days! :)
I'm so glad you posted Christmas pictures!! Did you guys get pictures of him opening presents at Rick and Betty's? You all will have LOTS more Christmases to celebrate and each one will be very special! I'm glad we got to share it with you this year!
I am glad you all had a wonderful Christmas with Camden. You are right, it makes you feel like a little kid again. I had butterflies on Christmas eve just thinking about the next morning!
I love seeing pictures of Camden and am DYING to see him again! You are right, we need to come up with a time to see each other. Our little cousins need to get to know each other!
Love you all and wish you a wonderful new year!
