Catching Up

YES, Her eyes are still BLUE!!!

This was taken on the 5th, 4 months old already!!

Easter Sunday, me and my girl!!

So, most of you probably think I fell off the face of the earth, but let me tell you my life has been so busy! I've been so sad not being able to blog, but we just got internet back at our new home and now as badly as I wanted to download like 400 pictures of Chesleigh and Camden, our computer is sooooo slow, so it may be another few weeks until we can get a new laptop to upload some oh so adorable pictures of the kids the last few months! I know this is long, but it's more for me remembering than anything else...

Wow, wow, wow. My life has been so blessed since Chesleigh was born. She's growing so fast and big brother Camden is really enjoying her!!! Chesleigh turned 4 months old on the 5th of May and she's 20 lbs. At least last time I checked, who knows now! She is seriously the cutest, chunkiest thing you've ever seen. People are shocked when they see how big she is and her cute rolly legs and double chin! She is the best baby...

She slept through the night for the first time on Thursday evening. She and Camden get a bath together and she's out at 8:30 and she slept until 6:00 in the morning! Then napped from 11:00-2:00!! She's such a sweet, sweet joy. Camden loves her. And I mean really loves her. He wakes up and says, "Mornin baby sis-ter!" He is very protective of her too. We were at his dr.'s appt. and when two other children walked up to look at her he grabbed her car seat and started dragging her with all his might saying, "NO NO, my baby Chesleigh!" And he's always so helpful too. Always bringing me her passy or sharing a toy and bringing it to her. And he loves helping me burp her and anytime she spits up he rushes for a burp rag. It's been an easier transition that I could have imagined. Although it's still a lot of work each day, much more enjoyable than I ever thought it might be.

Chesleigh is 4 months old and cooing and squealing so high pitched! She has a very raspy voice and is starting to laugh out loud more and more. My favorite time with her is in the morning. She has a smile that changes her entire facial expression and she just lights up. She is so strong too. She has been holding her head up for quite some time now and looks all around even trying to roll over, but definitely not pushing that. She loves to bounce her chubby little legs on your lap and she loves cuddling with anyone. She's a great cuddler. Cuddler, is that a word? She drools and spits up all the time, always keep a burp cloth handy and never dress her without a bib. It's a sure bet that she'll spit up as soon as you put a new outfit on her.

Clothes For Girls:

CUTE CUTE CUTE! I love standing in front of her closet deciding what she should wear for the day and which bow will suit her best. Hmmm, decisions decisions! I feel the need to take pictures of every single outfit she wears. For one, they're all so adorable and I want to always remember, and two she's so big that it might be the first and last time she wears it! She's in 9 month clothing right now! Chesleigh loves baths. She didn't when she was tiny and was cold, but now she grins and laughs at each bath. It's so fun singing and talking to her while she soaks in the baby tub!

Camden loves kissing her. He gives her kisses all the time and rubs her little bald head! Sometimes a little too rough, but not too bad :) Camden and I sing to Chesleigh a lot. She loves watching her big brother too. And Camden is just taking it all in! He doesn't get upset that I give her quite a bit of my attention and partly because I try to include him in all that I do. He's such a great helper.

Camden knows his ABC'S and can count to 10. He's also doing well with Spanish 1-10 too! He's so smart and I LOVE hearing him talk more and say new words. Everyday it's something new! Like tonight he's spending the night with Aunt Betty and he said, "Love you too Mama." Ahhhh, it's like music to my ears. He's such a tender hearted loving and sweet boy! Thursday evening he fell off the couch at home and hit his head pretty hard. I was at work and when I rushed home he ran to me and said, "Mama, I fell off couch and hit head on table and hurt and ow, and I cry." I love that he's finally to the age that he can tell me about his day. It's usually something like this, "I see Azia and Derrick and Aunt Betty and Uncle Rick and Zeke and Andy and Danielle and Uncle Danny and orange tractor!!!" The most exciting things of the day!!! :)

More to come...

Easter Sunday, soooo girly!!

Sweet Sweet!

Give those babies hugs and kisses from G'ma and G'pa. I love you sweetie and hope you enjoy Mother's Day with your two kiddos.
