First to sign

Nothing can get this boy down! Camden's cousin Derrick came over this morning to visit and brought us breakfast and played all morning! It was really good for Camden to do something other than sitting on the couch. And honestly, between two now that can't walk going outside is a hard task, but Derrick helped me prop Camden up and they played some fun baseball! Camden hit the bat and threw the ball. He actually fell once out of the chair (oops) but he was just fine. Thank goodness that cast goes all the way up his leg! Camden was so excited to play with him and let out some good energy! Camden said, "Derwick, will you sign my cassst?" So Derrick was the first to sign! We played on the swingset, with his Dumptruck and all kinds of fun things. Thank you Derrick for playing with Camden today!

Camden had another rough night getting comfortable. He wakes up screaming. And you know, I thought about it and I'm surprised I didn't realize this sooner. When I broke my leg I remembered not being tired at night and falling asleep really late or early in the morning because I had just been sitting all day. It makes sense that he's having such a hard time falling asleep. Poor baby, he slept with me last night. I don't think he'll be able to sleep by himself until it's off.
