I can easily say since Mother's Day that Chesleigh has successfully been going poo poo and pee pee in the potty! She has said several times that she needs to go and she's went! Now, to some of you this may be way too much information, but we were in the car and she said, "poo poo." I thought she could probably hold it until we got home but then she got this panicked look on her face and said it again. So, I pulled into the closest Wal-Mart and we rushed into the potty. My awesome little girl held it until we got there! And again, this is probably way too much info. but she had diarrhea and it was awful. Poor thing, if she would have went in her diaper it would have gotten through her clothes and on her car seat. Needless to say I was very proud of her!!! You know you're a mom when you get so excited out of such a gross thing! I was very very proud though!!
Chesleigh also can speak so well that I've lost count of all the words she can say. Her new words of the week are sing, baseball, wet, sticky, brew-ter (for our dog brewster) and she loves to say Yee Haw! She's doing so much lately she just amazes me! She's so good at saying please, thank you and of course bless you, even if someone coughs. It just cracks us up! Chesleigh is also playing so great with Camden. Now that she's more mobile it's so nice that they are really playing together. They'll play like they're chasing each other or Camden will run into the other room and say, "Chesleigh come find me!" She really likes that game. I love their ages right now. Oh, and while I'm talking about the new things Chesleigh is doing, she's eating so well with a fork and spoon! She can pronounce her letters so clearly but she has trouble with her "f" sounds. She says the "f" sounds like "sh." So she'll say shone for "phone" and shork for "fork." It's so cute!
