It's official, we're having a baby BOY!!! We can't hardly believe it! As many of you may know, my husband's family only produces BOYS! Ha! Carl was sure from the get go that it was a boy but I had my doubts as most of my family are all girls! Well, I'm here to tell you the ultrasound doesn't lie! The tech gave us wonderful pictures of the baby. She was sure to go over all of the baby's anatomy with us and to take the time to explain. Then as the anticipation grew she said, "Well dad, you've got yourself a boy!" His heart rate this time was 143 and he was moving around like crazy! I was just amazed at how clear the pictures were. He looked perfect to us! I cried of course. Carl was just gleaming from ear to ear. We are so happy and can't wait for our little guy to get here!
Okay, as for the ultrasound pictures, from the top left you have the very classic, "It's a Boy" shot. Hopefully that one explains itself! Then you have a profile of him and the bottom of a beautiful little foot! Then towards the bottom is a side shot of him and his arm and the last one at the bottom far right is another little boy shot. Feel free to click on the picture and it should enlarge it for you to better see. His sweet little face looks just so cute to me!
Awwww....Now the REAL planning begins!!! We can now start planning the nursery and picking out names! The exciting and yet strange part is I already know what his "Going Home" outfit will be. I'll go ahead and say this now although 4 years ago I would have been embarrassed to. When Carl and I were only dating not even a year or so, I came across this little baby blue outfit that was ribbed with dark navy blue that said "Mommy's Little King." I thought at the time, "Man , if we ever got married someday and had a boy this would be perfect!" You usually only come across something that perfect once, so I took a chance and bought it online. I actually kept it away from Carl for awhile as I didn't want him to think I was some crazy girlfriend. A while later I ended up telling him about the outfit I had bought and he still looked at me like I was crazy. Destiny maybe? I don't think so! I knew it would come to good use someday!!! Okay... so you ALL know now that I'm just plum crazy! Go ahead, think what you want, but it's pretty special to me. Enjoy the ultrasound pictures!!!

YEA!!!!! Congratulations! I can't say that I'm at all surprised that it's a boy. There are so many boys in the family! Just think of how much fun our boys will have together! I'm so glad everything is going well - I enjoyed going back and reading your previous posts and catching up with how you're doing. We need to get together soon! We've got a group going to the Bentonville/Rogers game on Friday, if you want to join us! :)
Hi Crystal! My name is Meredith and our moms work together. Our little guy was born last February and it's been an amazing experience. I cried when we found out ours was a little boy, too. It just made him so much more real to me. The pictures look really great.

Thanks Margaret! Great to hear from you! I know, I'm so happy our boys will be so close in age! How fun!! Play dates!!!! I also enjoy keeping up with your blog as well. It's such a neat way for updates since we're all so busy. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys at Thanksgiving!
Yes, we DO need to get together soon! Carl and I would love to go to the game with you guys (we love football) but I'm in school every night M-F until 10:00. Ugh, it's almost over though! It's been really hard on me (and Carl too!) Post a belly picture soon! Although I know I'm probably much bigger than you are! I swear my belly grows overnight!!! :) Take care of yourself!!!
