Isn't that the best face ever??!!
Look at that belly and rolly polly legs!
Camden, you're such a big boy!
We enjoyed a day outside!!!
He always looks so serious! :)1 Month Old Already!!!!!!!!
I can't hardly believe my baby is already 1 month old. This month has really flown by! As you can see from the pictures, he's growing big! In fact, Carl and I were interested in how much Camden weighs since our next dr.'s visit isn't until he's 2 months old. So, Carl weighed himself 4 times and got the same number and then with Camden to see what the difference was. Carl came into the kitchen with this weird look on his face asking me how much I thought he weighed. Since he was 8 pounds even only 4 weeks ago, I guessed 10 pounds thinking that was even a stretch. Carl grinned and said, "No way... HE'S 12 pounds!!!!!!" I couldn't believe it! It's hard to imagine in only 4 weeks time he'd gain that much weight, but the scales don't lie!
Can anyone think of a place I could go to weigh him more accurately?
On another note...
Baby's really do just need their mommies...
Last night Camden was being really fussy. He was fed and changed and usually when he cries it's because he has gas. Well, this lasted for close to an hour and there was nothing we could do to calm him down. We tried his pacifier, rocking, singing and walking with him and nothing was working. I took his temperature thinking maybe he didn't feel well but it was normal. So, finally I thought maybe he was hungry even though he had eaten an hour prior? He had been given a bottle two times in a row yesterday evening before all of this because I was trying out my new breast pump. So, I put him to my breast and in an instant his eyes closed and he fell fast asleep and was out cold! I guess he just wanted his mama!!!!! That can make a new mother feel wonderful!

Crystal I can not believe that he weighs 12 lbs already!! that's awesome! he looks great! and so do you!
Take him to Wal-Mart and go to the produce isle, then set him in the scales they use to weigh the produce. Or if those are busy just take him to the register they have scales their too. - Lonnie
Wow! I can't believe he's 12 pounds already! That's great! I can't remember who told me this, but someone recently told me that 12 pounds is the magic number for sleeping through the night. Once they hit that mark, they're more physically ready to sleep all night. Who knows if that's true or not, but I hope so!
As for weighing, I suppose you could use the produce scales (ha!), but we did it the same way you guys did, with the bathroom scale, and I think that works fine.
Love all the pictures. Camden looks great!!!
Margaret :)
OH Margaret I hope you're right! He's still getting up every 3 hours sometimes stretching to 3 1/2 hours, but let's hope he starts sleeping through the night! That would be wonderful!
Thanks for the tips Margaret and Lonnie! People will probably look at me like I'm crazy in the produce isle, but who cares! :)
By the sounds of it, the people at the grocery store are used to seeing Lonnie using the scales for various things!! If you try that, remember how high they are...you might need Carl to do it for you. That was how my sister and I used to weigh our kids sometimes though...or at the meat counter.
Love the pics...I can't believe how fast he's growing and looking so great! In the serious pic he looks a little like Derrick.
Love you bunches!
Wow! 12 pounds! Gavin was nearly 4 months by the time he reached 12 pounds. Camden will be a little rolly polly after all! CUTE!
