Smile

Handsome Boy!!

We FINALLY captured Camden's smile on camera! Daddy was saying, "Can you smile for me? Smile for Daddy!" Then, he did! Several times! Let me just share with you though the first time he smiled at me. It was about a week ago and for several days each morning when he was awake and alert, I tried to have him give me a good smile. It doesn't count if he's grinning in his sleep. Anyways, it was 2:30 the in the morning and I was changing his diaper. I usually don't say anything to him during this time so he can fall right back to sleep. I finished changing his diaper and swaddled him back up and he was just so awake and alert that I decided to go for it. I said, "Hi honey, can you smile for your mommy?" And there is was! His first "one cue" smile! I started laughing outloud and really wished we weren't in the room by ourselves so I could have shared it with someone! We talked for awhile and he smiled several times in a row and then it was time to go back to bed... :)

Love that Grin!
Check out those dimples!
Thanks to Ashley, those are the cutest P.J's ever!!!
As the shirt says, "Mommy's Little Monster." Awwww!
Ha! We weren't trying to capture the moment of his spit up, but it happened that way! TOO funny!

Also, to give everyone an update, Camden is growing so fast already! He is wearing most of his 3-6 months clothes already and his 0-3 month clothes most fit perfectly if not already getting too snug through the shoulders and snaps area. He's going to be a tall boy! He's eating anywhere around 4-5 ounces at each feeding and he's only getting up once at night. We couldn't be happier! Oh, and he's strong too! Look at the picture below and see him holding up his head like a strong baby! We have to be very careful because he'll throw his neck and head back. I'm looking forward to our 2 month check up in a few weeks.

I just had to throw this last picture in here. It was a chilly evening and we had been out and when we got him out of the car and inside, his poor little cap fell over his eyes! Haha, it was so funny! Poor baby couldn't see!

Gavin is doing great. I am going to update about his well baby checkup he had on Tuesday. Even though I beg him everyday, he just won't stop getting older! :)

Ha! It's so true! I tell Camden, STOP growing! I know these precious moments are going to fly by and I'll look back and think, "were you ever that little?" I'm trying to soak it all up as much as possible!

LOVE all the new pics. What a cute smile!!! Glad to hear he's growing so well. Can't wait to hear how much weight he's gained at his 2 month check-up. Oh, and several people recommended doing infant Tylenol before his shots, which we did, and Ethan wasn't fussy at all. You may already know that, but thought I'd throw that out there just in case. :)
