Chesleigh's Speaking

I know there are times in toddler's lives where they say one day they can only speak a few words and then all of a sudden there is an explosion of language.  In Chesleigh's case, she just kinda skipped the first part!  WOW, I can't believe what a good talker she is.  I thought Camden spoke soon for his age but her words and sounds are so clear.  She can and will repeat anything and everything you say.  Camden and Chesleigh have a "words" game where he says, "Sissy say doggie, sissy say Bentley, say grasshopper, say baby doll, say tractor" and so on.  It's amazing how well she is doing!  She can clearly speak for herself and that is so cool to see.  She can pretty much sing the big parts of Itsy Bitsy Spider.  She says, "Wash spider out" and "out came sun."  She can sing "Rolly Polly" and "Patty Cake."  This morning she gave me her sippy cup and said, "try it Mama."  Haha!  Some of the things she says just surprise me so much.  At dinner time tonight I asked her if she wanted more fish and she said, "no I don't."  Or sometimes she's cute and tricks me and will smile and say, "yes I doooooo!"  What really surprised me this evening though was at dinner time she was watching Camden eat and she clapped her hands and said, "Good job Den Den."  It was such a big girl moment for her!  At bath time she'll say, "Get out Mama" and say "towel please!"  Great job sissy!!

Aww, so sweet. I love her little voice and the way she cocks her little head to the side when she's teasing :)

I bet Camden is enjoying being his little sissy's 'teacher' too!!

Love and miss you guys!
