My sweet Girl
Chesleigh FINALLY has enough hair to have pig-tails! We're still waiting for the sides to catch up but it looks so sweet. I know I should trim the back, but oh well! It's cute!! Chesleigh has such a sweet/funny/sassy personality! She's just talking like crazy. The other morning she walked up to me and grabbed my hand and said, "Come on Mama, go eat... let's go Mama." She's dropped the Den Den for Camden and now it's just Camden. :( How is she growing so quickly? She wants to do everything Camden does including dressing up as you'll see below. And she's also becoming quite the music fan like her big brother too. When we're driving she'll say, "Who this?" Only because she hears her big brother say it. And she can name out exactly who Jason Aldean is of course no big surprise there and Zach Brown Band and Toby Keith. Pretty impressive for a 1 year old if I do say so myself! She can also sing most of the song "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." Every night when we go to sleep she says as she reaches out, "Hand Mama, Prayer." We always holds hand while we pray and she always asks for just one more. As I'm typing my mind is flooding with new stuff so I'm going to continue...
She loves giving the doggies "kisses" and having them lick her all over her cute little face. She is very much a girlie girl! She loves her "zip its" for bracelets and her purse. It's usually the first thing she looks for when she gets to Aunt Betty's house in the morning. Anything and everything Camden does she will do. They're kind of getting into the stage of always wanting the same thing, but that's normal I suppose. They are doing good at sharing (most of the time!) Chesleigh is very much a Mama's girl. Sometimes it's wonderful and at other times it exhausting. It's nice when I work late because it gives Carl a chance to get in his cuddle time. He always enjoys every Saturday with them for more one on one time while I'm working. He says Chesleigh is his best friend those days. That makes me happy...
And her new favorite movie (besides Tangled) is "The Little Mermaid." One of my clients let us borrow it for a few weeks and man oh man did she love it! If she would get upset she'd cry and grab her blankie and say, "Ariel, Ariel." We've gotta get that movie from the Disney vault when it comes out next.
