Good Ol' fish fry!

 My cousin Kelly and her family visited from Alaska and we had ourselves a good old fashioned fish fry.  Fresh fish = yummy!!  Camden and Ty were very interested in how this all happened.  The sad part is...  when they have to kill the fish and beat them over the head.  It was hard enough for me to watch and wondered what a little kid might think is happening?  I kind of panicked when my Uncle Perry started but he told the kids to step back and I said, "Wait shouldn't we explain this to them first?"  He said, it's a part of life.  The boys stood back and watched and hardly moved.  After is was over I said, "Camden, do you know what they're doing?"  He said, "Ya Mama, they're smacking them on the head so we can eat them."  Surprised and amazed he had such a simple answer.  There was a big sigh of relief that I didn't have to explain anything.  He understood. :)
