I HAVE A JOB!

REFLECTIONS here I come!!!!

Very good news! Yesterday I decided to go talk to the owner of Reflections regarding a job at her salon. I've actually been going there for my own hair for over 5 years now. The salon is very well known and has been around for a long time, very upbeat and fun! I had talked to her in the past before I found out I was pregnant about possibly working there, but wanted to keep in touch with her and let her know I was still very interested after I have the baby. She was great talking with me and said she is excited to have me there! It's great because she said they're very flexible with part time days and it sounds like I might be working possibly (nothing set in stone yet) every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday! That will be perfect for me! Plus, those are the days they're open later which will be great because I want to be able to work as many hours as I can the days that I'm able to have Aunt Betty keep the baby! By the way, Carl's Aunt Betty is keeping our little man! It couldn't be more perfect because we trust her completely and she lives right down the street from us! Carl will be keeping the baby on Saturdays! Boy does he have his work cut out for him!

Anyways, I'm very excited about working at Reflections and I'm so pleased with how well our conversation went. It's great knowing that I'll be working for someone who's understanding and flexible. I feel like this day has been coming for such a long time and I've worked very hard to get there. Everyone has their dreams and their goals of what they want to do with their lives, and for me, this is it. I'm so thrilled to be able to work in a salon. Something that I've ALWAYS dreamed of doing. It's all finally starting to come together! I'm excited too because it's such an awesome salon where I know I'll learn so much and enjoy waking up to go! I can't wait! Now, everyone keep your fingers crossed for me, I'll be taking my State Boards February 11th!
