Well, actually we still have the pictures to hang along with curtains and a few minor details, but other than that, it's almost finished! The pictures really don't do it justice. I don't know why but in some of the pictures the paint actually looks darker than it really is. Maybe I took them on a cloudy day? Either way, we're really happy with the way it turned out! Carl still needs to place the crown molding which will really put it all together.
Oh, and in case you're wondering why you only see me painting??? Well, because I was the only one that did! My mom was supposed to help, but she ended up getting sick and Carl's great for the hard to reach high places, but he's not much of a painter. So, I got the okay from the dr., opened up the windows, took way too MANY breaks and got it done. I just hated to put if off any longer than we had to! :)
Also, my work threw me an awesome baby shower! My boss Cyndi MADE me a diaper cake! Although no cake was really involved in making it. It's made out of individually rolled up diapers! There are 3 tiers and when I lifted to see, it was supported by baby bath, lotion and even rolled up baby gowns! :) So cool isn't it?!!!

I love the way the room turned out! What a great paint color!! Notice how the blanket colors pop so much more than the pictures from several weeks ago before the room was painted. Hope your mom is back to 100%...we've got a lot of pacing to do together in a few short weeks!
