Well...
NO PROGRESS!
We were so bummed to find out that I'm not dilated at all! I was sure I would have progressed a little on my own, but no such luck. The doctor listened to the baby's heartbeat and said she picked it up quick in my lower abdomen so hopefully that's a good sign that he's head down which is really what we've been praying for. I go back to the Dr.'s on Monday the 25th for our next ultrasound to see just how big this baby has gotten within the last 3 weeks since he was measuring 7 lbs. 8 oz.! I'm sure he's grown since then; at least I feel like he has! From there the doctor will more than likely schedule either for me to be induced or c-section if he's not head down. I'm hoping that since we'll see the doctor on a Monday she'll schedule it maybe at the end of next week???!!! We'll see! No matter what, the time is getting closer.
Carl and I have our bags packed and are ready to go! Thank you again to everyone for the lovely baby gifts. I can't imagine what we would have done if we had to buy everything ourselves! There are so many things that are needed with a baby and thanks to our wonderful family and friends you guys made it possible for us! More updates to come!!!!!!!

I saw Margaret's blog and saw the picture of you and baby Ethan. Being a mommy already looks great on you! Sorry to hear there is no progress yet. Good luck on your next appointment. We will be waiting to hear the results!
Sounds like you guys are ready - that's great! We never felt like we were completely ready.
It'll happen sooner than you think. And by the time baby gets here, you'll forget all the pains of being 9 months pregnant and miserable. You'll have a sweet baby to love on!

Margaret, thanks for the encouraging words! I think it's just me wanting to hold him so badly that it's hard to wait! I can't wait for us to get our babies together; so much love to go around!!
