Written State Board Test

I PASSED!!!!!!

I don't know how exactly but I passed! I studied really hard, and was pretty confident going in. They say that they take a percentage of questions from each chapter, for example anatomy, bacteria, haircutting, perms, color, chemistry, electricity, diseases of the nail and so forth. So, the chapters I was struggling with I knew that I would catch my fall in the many other chapters I was confident in. Sadly, that wasn't the case. The WHOLE ENTIRE test was over chemicals and diseases of the nails! Words I can hardly pronounce! I just knew they were going to test me on electricity, the part I really didn't know much about and of course after studying it there weren't ANY questions about it! Why couldn't the test have been on anatomy, or haircutting, chapters I was confident in??!! Anyways, I was flipping out during the entire test just knowing I was going to fail. I felt tears welding up (I'm a bit emotional these days too) as I sat there and waited for the results. The lady came out and said, "Well, you Passed!" I immediately started crying. I appologized to the poor lady explaining to her that it was a very hard exam and I'm so relieved that I don't have to retake it! She was kind and said, "I guess you know more than you thought!" She probably thought I was some big pregnant crazy lady!

SO, I passed. Now I have to get through one more week of studying for my practical exam and all of this is behind me! :)
