Ultrasound Update!

As you can see, in the first picture he's yawning and the second one his eyes are closed. My precious baby boy! I'm so in LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, we went to the doctors today to find out how much our baby weighs. Remember, I was measuring large at our last visit. I'm 35 weeks and measuring today at 40 weeks and the baby weighs 7 lbs. 8 oz.! Can you believe that??!!! What a BIG baby! The ultrasound tech was even surprised! And also, little to our suprise we got to see 4D pictures of him! We had no idea and all of the sudden, up pops a picture of our sweet baby boy's face! He's SOOOOO adorable! The pictures were so clear, just amazing. I started crying seeing the first look at our baby's face! Carl was so surprised too, you should have seen the look on his face! The ultrasound tech said, "Look at those chubby cheeks!" He's so chubby! We saw him yawn, open and close his eyes and move around. His sweet little arms and legs, adorable! I even said outloud, "I feel like this is all a dream." To see my baby's face so clearly I was just in complete aww...

She said that if we wait to have him until our due date he would weigh around 10 1/2 pounds! Wow! She said, "You just have a big baby!" I don't think this means he'll come any earlier on his own, rather than he's just a big baby. She did say he was transverse (laying side to side) but that could change at any time. She warned me about the possibility of having a C-Section if we did wait until our due date. She said there's no way the doctor would take him before I reached 37 weeks which is considered Full Term, but that at my appt. next week the doctor will tell me his thoughts of inducing my labor. She said even if I delievered at 38 weeks he'll probably weigh at least 8 1/2 pounds. So, fingers crossed we'll see! I did of course tell her that I needed to hold him in until after my State Boards on Monday! She was a bit concerned me traveling that far, but said that as long as we stop every hour and I take it easy, me and baby should be fine.

So, that's the update! I'm anxious to hear what the doctor will say next week! I'm so relieved though that he's a healthy baby. Carl and I are so excited we can hardly stand it! I still feel as if there are still so many "to-do's" but I have to remember that not everything has to be perfect. Just bringing our healthy baby home will be enough for me!

Holy moley! Wow!!!

That's great that you got to see 3D pictures of baby. It's so neat to get even just a little glimpse of what he might look like. Can't wait to see him in a few weeks!!!

We still feel like there's a ton left to do, too. But, it'll get done somehow.

Good luck next week! :)
