Sleepless Nights...

I need EVERYONE'S advice!! Please help!! Camden has been waking up for the day anywhere between 4:30-5:30. I literally cannot function until 6:00. Camden is usually asleep no later than 8:00 in the evenings and normally he would sleep until about 6. But, the last week or so he's ready to start his day much sooner. We've tried keeping him up later until 9:00 and playing really hard so he's worn out, letting him take a cat nap at 6:00 in hopes he'd stay up later, we've tried no evening nap, you name it I feel like we've tried it.

To get him back to sleep I've done the following...

Rocking him of course like I normally do, but when I lay him back down he screams.

Feeding him in hopes his belly is nice and full and will drift back to sleep.

Letting him cry it out, which let me tell you he's literally hysterical! I go back in every 5-7 minutes and lay him back down (since he's standing up in the crib), cover him back up and leave the room. This would go on and on. He doesn't give up too easily.

I've tried sitting next to the crib so he's not so worked up hoping that he'd be comforted that I'm there and drift back to sleep...

I know there's not a right or wrong way of doing this but I could really use any advice. I feel like I've tried so many things and I just don't know how to either keep him asleep for longer or get him back to sleep. Please help! :)

I have really tried thinking of a solution!
What I would do with Gavin when he would wake up in the middle of the night, was get a bottle and lay with him in front of TV until he fell back asleep. That might not work with Camden if he is up and ready to play though.

I agree with you that 4:30 is WAY too early!!
If I think of something else I will let you know.
I hope this doesn't last long!
